SCORM authoring tool for TalentLMS: choose the right package
The first authoring choice for TalentLMS is the package format. TalentLMS supports SCORM 1.2 with a single SCO. It does not support SCORM 2004 or Multi-SCO packages. Honen can help you build and review a course, then deliver it through a live SCORM 1.2 package. See the TalentLMS integration for the full path.
Check the export before you upload

Set the export to SCORM 1.2. Keep one launchable SCO in the ZIP. Set a clear completion condition and a score rule if the course includes an assessment. Then test the final action that sends completion. A learner who views the last screen may still show as incomplete if the package never sends a final status.
TalentLMS lets an instructor add the ZIP as a SCORM | xAPI | cmi5 learning activity. Its unit options let you choose an embedded or pop-up display. Test both when browser behavior affects launch or progress.
Use Honen as the content source
Give Honen an approved document, slide deck, or video. Ask it to draft the lesson and assessment. Check facts and answers against the source. Write short sentences, use active verbs, and use one term for one concept. A qualified editor must review controlled-language output against ASD-STE100 rules and the approved dictionary. Do not treat a draft as a certified result.
Honen's package loads current approved lesson content when a learner opens it. You can correct a lesson in Honen without uploading another ZIP for each text change. Test a new package if you change navigation, tracking, or the package structure.
| Need | Authoring check |
