Not everything needs to be a course

• An Assessment is a new thing you can create — only a test or a project, with no curriculum wrapped around it. Say what you want assessed and you get that, rather than a six-unit course built to lead up to it.
• An Atom is one lesson or one exercise, created the same way. It behaves like any other course underneath, so a link, an assignment, progress, and your LMS all treat it the same.
• Pick the kind when you create, and change it later in the course's settings. My Courses filters by kind, and a course carries its kind on the card in Explore.
• A curriculum opens as an ordered track — one course per step, with your place on it.
• Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to a Site through its MCP server. Copy the address, sign in, and an outside assistant edits the same academy the one in Honen does.
• Improved completion so an assessment that was assigned with its test optional counts once the learner has done the work.

Agents where your team already works, and xAPI in both directions

• Agents are assistants you build in your workspace and put where people already are — Slack, Microsoft Teams, iMessage, or a chat embedded on your own site. Write the instructions, set the guardrails, choose what it can reach. The same agent answers on every channel it is connected to.
• An agent's access is decided once. Start from a profile — answer questions, build courses, run learning operations — or name the exact knowledge and courses it may use. What you set is the limit, whatever anyone asks the agent to do.
• LMS through xAPI sends your learning records to the record store you already run, like Watershed, Learning Locker, or SCORM Cloud. Where SCORM reports a score, this reports what happened — which activity, how long, what result. Honen is a record store of its own as well: mint a credential and another system can read those records or write its own into the same place.
• Export a course for your LMS from one action on the course, and pick SCORM or cmi5 from a menu that says what each one is for. cmi5 is ready in an organization workspace, and the package stays live — edit the course and every LMS you deployed it to has the change.

A tutor that can look things up, and assignments that cover one piece

• Turn on search of the Knowledge Base, the whole course, or illustrations, and the tutor looks something up, finds where else it appears, or draws a diagram. Point at a topic with @ and it can offer to open it.
