AI course creator for Skilljar
Honen can help a customer education team draft a course from approved source material, then deliver it as a Skilljar lesson. The Honen and Skilljar integration supports a SCORM package path with a live Honen course.
Define one customer task

Start with one customer action. For example, ask customers to create their first project and invite a teammate. Gather the current product guide, screenshots, and support notes. Remove old interface labels before you ask Honen for a course draft.
Skilljar accepts SCORM lesson packages, so a reviewed Honen course can be exported as SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 4th Edition. Choose the version your Skilljar site has tested.
Build and review in Honen
- Add the approved source files to Honen.
- Draft a short course with one goal per lesson.
- Check each product step against the current interface.
- Add a practice activity that makes the learner do the task.
- Test the course and AI tutor as a learner.
Use controlled language: one term for one item, short active sentences, and one action per instruction. Honen can help draft and review this style, informed by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.
Deliver to Skilljar
Publish the Honen course and export the chosen SCORM ZIP. Skilljar's upload guide says to create a SCORM/Web Package lesson, upload the ZIP, set display and progress options, and save the lesson. Test the lesson with a learner account before you publish it widely.
The Honen ZIP launches current course content. Edit the content in Honen and the next launch can show the change without a new upload. A package settings change can require a fresh export. SCORM writes completion and score through the browser only while the course is open.
For options beyond SCORM, read Honen with Skilljar and the LMS path chooser.
