Honen for Moodle Workplace: build training and keep your workplace LMS
Honen helps teams draft, review, and update courses that learners open from Moodle Workplace. Moodle Workplace remains the place for assignments and learning records. Use a SCORM 1.2 activity or configure Honen as an LTI 1.3 external tool, subject to your tenant settings.
Choose the path for your site

Moodle's Workplace compliance page lists both SCORM and LTI content integration. Moodle states that Workplace combines Moodle LMS features with workplace tools. Moodle documents SCORM 1.2 compliance and LTI 1.3 Advantage external tools. Check the Workplace version, enabled plugins, permissions, and services in your own site.
For SCORM, export a Honen SCORM 1.2 ZIP and add it as a SCORM activity. For LTI, a site administrator must register the tool and enable the services needed for launch, names and roles, or grades. Do not assume that a successful LTI launch proves grade return. Test every service you plan to use.
Review source and tutor answers

Give Honen an approved procedure, policy, slide deck, or video. State the learner's task. Have the owner check facts, questions, and tutor replies. Test questions that the source does not answer.
Write short sentences. Use active verbs. Use one approved term for each concept. Put one action in each instruction. A qualified editor must check ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and domain terms. Honen helps draft controlled language.
Update content and check the record
Honen's thin SCORM package loads current approved content when a learner opens it. A text correction can appear without uploading a new ZIP. Test structural and tracking changes. SCORM completion, pass or fail, score, time, and resume data return only while the course is open. For LTI, grades can be server-to-server when the site and tool are configured for the relevant service. Separate xAPI forwarding to your own LRS needs its own setup.
