AI course creator for Moodle Workplace: from policy to activity

Use Honen to draft a workplace course from approved material. Review the lesson and tutor before delivery. Then add the course to Moodle Workplace through a SCORM 1.2 activity or a configured LTI external tool. See Honen for Moodle Workplace for the two paths.

Make the source clear

Choose a current policy or procedure. Record its owner, effective date, and audience. Name the action the worker must perform. For compliance training, include the stop condition and the person who handles exceptions. Ask the owner to resolve conflicting instructions before Honen drafts the lesson.

Build and review in Honen

  1. Give Honen the approved source and learner goal.
  2. Check the outline with a subject expert.
  3. Check every fact, question, and answer.
  4. Test the tutor with normal and out-of-scope questions.
  5. Ask a qualified editor to check controlled language.

Use short sentences and active verbs. Put one action in each step. Use one approved term for one concept. A qualified editor must check ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and domain terms.

Deliver in Moodle Workplace

Moodle says Workplace integrates SCORM and LTI content. For a package, use SCORM 1.2, the version documented by Moodle's standards page. Add it as a SCORM activity. Test completion with a learner. SCORM data returns only while the course is open. For LTI, ask the site administrator to confirm LTI 1.3 registration and the enabled grade service.

The course owner should recheck text after a policy update. A Honen-hosted correction can appear through the existing live package, but changes to tracking need a new test.
