Turn PDFs, slides, and video into Cornerstone courses
Honen can help turn source material into a course that you deliver through Cornerstone Learning. Use the Honen and Cornerstone integration to export a reviewed course as SCORM. Do not treat a source file as an approved lesson until an editor checks it.
From a PDF procedure

Start with a current safety procedure. Identify the one action a learner must perform. Ask Honen to draft a short sequence, a diagram description, and a practice question. Check every number, warning, and order of operations against the source. Keep the source version with the course record.
Before: a 30-page policy that a learner must search during a task. After: a focused lesson with the exact steps, a decision point, and a check for understanding. The lesson is a proposed format, not a claim that Honen has approved the policy.
From a slide deck
Start with the latest onboarding deck. Remove repeated slides and old product names. Ask Honen to group the facts by learning goal. Turn each group into a short lesson and practice activity. Make the learner do the task instead of only reading a slide.
Before: a deck that lists all features. After: a course where a new employee chooses the correct workflow for a customer request.
From a video
Start with a training video and its approved transcript. Mark the moments that show a required action. Use Honen to draft a lesson around those moments and a question that checks the action. A subject expert must compare each step with the video and current procedure.
Before: a long recording with no test of understanding. After: a lesson with the relevant clip, a clear instruction, and a practice check.
Review language and publish
Use one name for each part. Write one action per instruction. Prefer active verbs and short sentences. Honen can help draft and review text in this controlled-language style, informed by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and technical terms. No file conversion proves ASD-STE100 conformity.
Cornerstone supports SCORM content. After review, export a Honen SCORM ZIP and use Cornerstone's documented Content Uploader. Test launch, resume, and completion with one learner. The live package loads current Honen content; a content edit does not need a new ZIP. SCORM reporting works while the course is open.
Return to Honen with Cornerstone for the full workflow and read what a live SCORM package is before you update an assigned course.
