SCORM authoring tool for Totara Learn
Honen exports a SCORM course for a Totara Learn activity. Start with Honen and Totara Learn for the delivery path.
Choose the supported version

Totara fully supports SCORM 1.2. It lists exceptions for SCORM 2004's Content Aggregation, Run-Time Environment, and Sequencing and Navigation extensions. A 2004 ZIP might work if it avoids those parts, but that needs a package test. Use 1.2 for a straightforward Honen launch unless your team has verified another format.
Set the result you need
Totara's SCORM settings include grading method, attempts, attempt grading, and display package. Decide whether the course reports completion alone or a score and pass. Match the package's output to Totara's settings and run a pass, fail, and resume test. Totara describes each setting.
Review the course text
Use current source documents. Check each fact and answer. Write short, active instructions with one action per step. Use consistent names for parts. Honen can help draft and review controlled language, but a qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, ASD-STE100 rules, and domain terms.
Test the live package
Export and upload the SCORM ZIP. Check the learner view in the chosen window. Change one approved line in Honen, then relaunch to verify that Totara plays the current content. SCORM can report completion, pass/fail, score, time, and resume only while the course is open. It is not a server-to-server grade feed.
Next step
Use the Totara upload guide, then return to Honen with Totara Learn. See SCORM, cmi5, xAPI, and LTI explained for format context.
