AI course creator for Totara Learn
Honen can draft lessons and checks from approved source files. Add the reviewed course to Totara Learn as a SCORM activity. The Honen and Totara integration explains the version decision.
Build from a current procedure

For a machine-start procedure, collect the approved checklist, safety notice, and clear images. State the learner action you need. Ask Honen for a short lesson and practice check. Compare every generated step with the approved source. A subject expert must approve warnings and sequence.
For example, ask the learner to identify a missing guard before starting the machine. If the approved procedure says to stop, make that the correct practice answer. Test a wrong answer too. The feedback must tell the learner to stop and use the approved escalation path. Do not let the tutor invent a repair step.
Keep sentences short and active. Put one action in each step and use one term for each part. Honen helps draft and review this controlled-language style. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, ASD-STE100 rules, and domain terms; Honen does not certify conformance.
Deliver in Totara
Totara supports SCORM 1.2 fully. Export that version for a first test. Its SCORM 2004 support excludes important extensions, so use 2004 only after checking your exact package. A user needs permission to upload a new unknown SCORM package. Add the ZIP as an activity, then test completion, score, time, and resume.
Choose the result before upload. If the learner only needs to view a procedure, test the completion rule. If the learner must pass a check, test both a pass and a fail. Compare Totara's activity grade with the result Honen sent.
Honen's live package loads current content on a later launch. Test this hosted behavior in your Totara site before relying on updates without a new ZIP. SCORM sends data while the course is open.
