TalentLMS content generator: turn source files into a course
Honen can help turn approved PDFs, slides, and video material into a course for TalentLMS. The source owner reviews the lesson before release. Then the course runs as a TalentLMS learning activity. See Honen for TalentLMS for supported delivery paths.
Start with a current source

A PDF may contain a policy with conditions and exceptions. Mark the sections learners must apply. A slide deck may contain headings but omit the spoken explanation.
Add speaker notes or an approved script. A video may show a task but leave safety rules unstated. Supply a transcript and the current procedure. Do not let a generated course fill those gaps with guesses.
Build one task at a time
- Name the task and the learner group.
- Upload the approved source to Honen.
- Ask for an outline and a short practice activity.
- Check each claim against the source.
- Test the quiz and tutor with a subject expert.
For a return process, the finished course could show a decision, ask the learner to select the next action, and explain the answer. A source owner must check the time limits and exceptions. This is more useful than copying the PDF into a sequence of screens.
Write short sentences. Use active verbs and one approved term per concept. A qualified editor must review ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and domain terms. Honen helps with the draft.
Deliver and maintain the course
TalentLMS accepts SCORM 1.2 and cmi5 ZIP files. For SCORM, use a single-SCO SCORM 1.2 Honen package. Add it through the course editor. Test the launch, completion, and score. Honen-hosted lesson changes can load through the existing package. Check tracking after structural changes.
Next step
Use the TalentLMS integration overview to plan the first course. Read how to add an AI tutor to an existing LMS if learners need help during the lesson.
