Docebo content generator: turn source files into a course

Honen can help turn source documents, slides, and video material into a course that you deliver through Docebo. The source is evidence, not an approved lesson by itself. Review the generated course before you upload its SCORM package. See Honen for Docebo.

Start with a PDF

Take a current equipment procedure. Identify the revision and owner. Ask Honen to draft a lesson that explains the preparation, action, and stop conditions. Compare every generated step with the PDF. Remove any invented interval, threshold, or tool name. Add one practice question for each decision the learner must make.

Start with slides

A slide deck may contain fragments such as “check valve” or “verify system.” Add the missing object, condition, and result before you draft. Ask Honen to turn each approved point into a complete instruction. Keep diagrams when they are needed to identify a part. Have the subject expert check each instruction against the speaker notes or source procedure.

Start with video

Use an approved transcript or a reviewed set of time-coded notes. Identify what the learner must do, what is merely shown, and what is unsafe to infer. Ask Honen to draft a sequence and a short check. Review each action against the video and the current written procedure. Do not treat a visual demonstration as authority for an undocumented step.

Apply a controlled-language review

Use short sentences. Use active verbs. Put one action in each step. Use one approved term for a component. A qualified editor must review the approved dictionary, ASD-STE100 rules, and domain terms. Honen can draft toward that style, but.

Deliver to Docebo

Docebo supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd Edition. Export the Honen SCORM 1.2 ZIP. Honen's 2004 export is 4th Edition, while Docebo documents 3rd Edition. Add it as SCORM training material. Test launch, completion, and score with a learner account. A later approved content edit can load through the existing Honen live package; test it before a broad rollout.
