Compliance training content for Docebo: keep the source and record clear

Use Honen to draft and update a course. Use Docebo to assign it and retain the LMS training record. This workflow can support safety, privacy, onboarding, or policy training when an expert reviews the content and the reporting rule. Start with Honen for Docebo.

Build from the approved policy

Before and after illustration of a long policy sentence rewritten as three short instructions
Illustrative rewrite. A qualified editor must check ASD-STE100 rules, terms, and the approved dictionary.

Record the policy owner, version, and effective date. Write the behavior the learner must demonstrate. Ask Honen to draft a short lesson and a question for each required decision. Have the policy owner check the draft. Remove instructions that are not in the approved source.

For a safety update, state the new control, the condition that triggers it, and the action the worker must take. Do not hide a required action in a long paragraph. Use active verbs and one instruction per step. Use the same approved term in the course, quiz, and job aid.

An ASD-STE100 style requires more than short sentences. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terminology. Honen can help create and revise a controlled-language draft.

Publish and test the record

Docebo accepts SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd Edition. Add the Honen SCORM 1.2 package as training material; Honen's 2004 export is 4th Edition, not Docebo's documented 3rd Edition. Test the completion trigger, pass or fail status, score, and exit behavior. Docebo's course report shows the learner status and score that you can review for your process. Determine retention and audit requirements with your compliance owner.

Update the policy without losing control

When policy text changes, approve the new source and update the Honen course. The live package loads current approved content on the next launch, without a new ZIP for each text edit. Log what changed and when. Re-test the lesson if the edit changes a question, navigation, or completion rule. A prior learner record does not prove that the learner completed a later revision.
