AI course creator for D2L Brightspace

Build the course in Honen, review it, and launch it from Brightspace. The Honen and D2L Brightspace overview explains the two delivery paths.

SCORM support alone does not verify Honen's hosted launcher in Brightspace. Test the exact ZIP, learner launch, and result in your site before rollout.

Prepare a reliable source set

Collect approved policies, slides, procedures, and video transcripts. Give each source an owner and revision date. Set one learning goal for each lesson. Ask Honen to draft a structure, practice, and checks from those sources.

For example, a clinical program can teach learners to label and store a sample. Give Honen the current handling procedure. Have the procedure owner check each label, time limit, and disposal step. A learner should be able to complete the practice before the Brightspace activity records completion.

Review before delivery

1. Check every instruction against the approved source.
2. Remove unclear or repeated steps.
3. Use direct verbs and consistent terms.
4. Test each question and answer.
5. Have a qualified editor check the approved dictionary, ASD-STE100 rules, and domain terms.

Honen helps draft and review controlled-language content inspired by ASD-STE100.

Add the course to Brightspace

Use a configured LTI Advantage link when an administrator approves the tool and services. Or export Honen's SCORM 1.2 or 2004 ZIP and add it to Brightspace Content. The new SCORM solution and legacy solution use different steps.

Test the learner launch, tutor, completion, and grade item. After release, edit the course in Honen. The thin SCORM package loads new content on the next launch without another ZIP upload. SCORM reporting works while the course remains open. Re-export the ZIP if package settings change.
