SCORM authoring for Thought Industries with Honen
Export a reviewed Honen lesson as SCORM 1.2 or 2004 for Thought Industries. Use Honen for Thought Industries to decide whether it belongs in a standalone item or a native course.
Match the container and version

Thought Industries documents both SCORM versions and a 2 GB ZIP limit. A standalone SCORM item opens in its own window. A SCORM page belongs to a native course and can use course options such as resources and discussions. For a course page, open its lesson, add a SCORM page, and choose a ZIP from the desktop or Asset Library. The vendor recommends leaving Embed on the page off for the broadest package compatibility.
Choose completion and score rules before release. Thought Industries says SCORM 2004 separates completion and success states. Test the learner's status in its SCORM report. The platform can display some question responses if the package sends them, but some interaction types have limited standard reporting.
Keep a controlled source
Give Honen an approved product procedure. Write short active sentences and one action per step. Use one approved term for each control. A qualified editor must check ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and domain terms.
Plan the next update
Honen-hosted text can load through the current live package. If you replace the ZIP in Thought Industries, check Revert Progress. The documented default resets existing learners to the new package from the beginning. Disabling it lets in-progress learners keep the previous content until they finish. Test both the package and the progress choice before a broad rollout. SCORM data writes to the LMS only while the course is open.
