Honen, Articulate, and iSpring for Rippling Learning
Rippling Learning can take a SCORM package from an authoring tool. Honen, Articulate, and iSpring each offer a different authoring workflow. The Honen and Rippling Learning page explains the verified SCORM route and its limits.
Compare the authoring work

| Need | Honen | Articulate 360 | iSpring Suite |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start from source files | AI-assisted draft | Features vary by product | AI tools and PowerPoint workflow |
| Tutor inside the course | Honen tutor | Depends on course design | Depends on course design |
| SCORM package | Export after version check | SCORM export | SCORM export |
| Later updates | Honen live package if portal test passes | Rise Connected Packages in Labs | Check selected export process |
Rippling also lets teams build their own courses and use a content catalog. Consider that native route when the training does not need an outside authoring tool. Rippling can assign courses by employee attribute through Supergroups, send reminders, and report on overdue enrollments. Those controls apply to the catalog decision whichever authoring tool you choose. Use Articulate Storyline for detailed custom interactions, and iSpring Suite for slide-based training and its quiz or simulation tools. iSpring describes those tools.
Articulate documents Rise Connected Packages. Honen's package is live by default, but other tools can offer connected updates. Rippling's public material does not verify thin-package behavior, so test Honen's launch and reporting in the tenant before promising no-reupload updates.
Check every fact, warning, and answer regardless of tool. Use short, active steps and consistent terms. Honen helps draft and review controlled language; a qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, ASD-STE100 rules, and domain terms. Judge the reviewed text against the official rules.
