AI course creator for Open edX
Draft the learning content in Honen, review it, and place a launch in an Open edX unit. The Honen and Open edX integration page explains the LTI and SCORM paths.
SCORM support alone does not verify Honen's hosted launcher in Open edX. Test the exact ZIP, learner launch, and result in your site before rollout.
Work from approved course sources

Choose a lesson goal and collect current documents, slides, and video transcripts. Record who owns each source. Ask Honen for a lesson outline, practice task, and knowledge check. Check the draft against the source and the course's intended assessment level.
For example, an Open edX course on research methods can teach learners to classify three study designs. Give Honen the approved definitions and examples. Review each explanation with the instructor. Put the finished Honen lesson in one Open edX unit, then check that the unit's grade setting matches the activity.
Use short sentences and one instruction per step. Honen can help teams draft and review controlled-language content inspired by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.
Add a learner launch in Studio
Open edX lets course teams add an LTI Consumer component to a unit. Enter the Honen tool values, exchange the Open edX registration values, and choose the permitted services. If Deep Linking is enabled, select the Honen course from Studio. Publish the unit, then test from the learner LMS; LTI 1.3 launches do not run from Studio preview.
If your site instead uses SCORM, the operator must enable the SCORM XBlock. Add one SCORM component to a unit and upload the Honen ZIP. The XBlock settings determine whether the unit is scored.
Review after release
Test the tutor and completion with a learner account. If an LTI result should affect the course grade, check the graded component and graded subsection. If using SCORM, keep the course open until browser reporting finishes. Honen's live SCORM ZIP loads new course content after an edit; package setting changes require re-export.
