AI course creator for HealthStream Learning Center
Honen can draft a short clinical staff lesson from approved material. A clinical reviewer checks the draft before delivery in HLC. See Honen with HealthStream for the delivery plan.
Start with the policy owner

For an infection prevention procedure, collect the current policy, role boundaries, exceptions, and review date. Ask Honen for one action per step and a practice question tied to the policy. Check every statement with a clinical expert. Use consistent terms and plain warnings. A qualified editor must check the ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and clinical terms.
Keep a source reference for each warning and answer. When the policy changes, compare the revised text with every lesson step and tutor reply. Do not publish a clinical instruction that the source owner has not approved.
Select the HLC record
HealthStream confirms that organizations upload self-authored SCORM packages to the HLC Authoring Center. Ask your HLC administrator for the current import path, SCORM edition, and file limit. Choose the result that the course must produce: completion, score, or a separate assessment record. Test the chosen result in the report your organization uses.
HLC also tracks assignments and training reports. A SCORM result and a clinical competency check can serve different purposes. Decide with the policy owner which evidence is required before you assign the lesson.
Test before assignment
Run the activity as a learner. Check the expected completion and resume record. Test hosted Honen content inside your HLC tenant. SCORM reports while the course is open. If staff must review a revised lesson, set and verify a new assignment; a content edit alone does not prove retraining.
