AI course creator for Sakai sites
Draft the course in Honen and place a reviewed learner launch in Sakai through LTI 1.3. The Honen and Sakai overview explains why this path needs an administrator.
Start with approved material

Select a current course source, such as a lab procedure or onboarding standard. Record its owner and revision. Ask Honen to draft a short lesson and knowledge check. Check every step, link, and answer against the source. Remove content that the source does not support.
For a lab procedure, ask learners to identify the correct protective equipment before they handle a sample. Have the lab lead check the answer and the warning text. Place the reviewed lesson in Sakai Lessons and test the LTI launch with a student account.
Honen can help draft and review controlled language inspired by ASD-STE100. Use direct verbs, short sentences, and consistent terms. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.
Place the course in a Sakai site
Sakai's External Tools can place an approved LTI 1.3 tool in Lessons, Assignments, or site navigation. Ask the administrator to register Honen for the intended site and service permissions. Do not enter LTI 1.1 shared-secret values into a site-level form: Sakai reserves that form for LTI 1.1.
Publish the Sakai link, then test it as a learner. Open the Honen lesson and tutor. Check completion and any grade result that your configured services permit. Honen's course edit appears on the next LTI launch.
Sakai 25's SCORM Player supports only SCORM 2004 3rd Edition. Honen's current ZIP exports do not match that edition; do not substitute an untested ZIP for the LTI launch.
