Draft the full course in Honen

Collect approved procedures, slides, transcripts, and assessment criteria. Record each source's owner and revision. Ask Honen for a course outline, lessons, practice, and checks. Review every factual statement and answer.

For example, a paid course can teach a full customer onboarding process. Give Honen the approved setup steps and support rules. Ask the product owner to review the sequence and each check. Import the reviewed package into a new MasterStudy course so the pilot does not replace existing lessons.

Use clear commands and consistent terms. Honen can help draft and review controlled-language content inspired by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.

Create a new MasterStudy pilot course

The MasterStudy SCORM add-on enables Import SCORM in Course Builder. The import accepts one ZIP as the course content. It is not a way to mix several SCORM lessons with a normal curriculum. Create a new pilot course; the vendor warns that importing into an existing course deletes its lessons.

MasterStudy uses a separate SCORM course player. Its Course Files feature is for downloadable attachments, so do not use it for the pilot ZIP. Ask the site administrator which SCORM edition the installed add-on accepts, then test Honen's matching export.

Check the learner outcome

Enroll a learner and open the SCORM course. Check the Honen tutor, completion, score, resume, and any MasterStudy certificate rule. SCORM data reports through the browser while the course is open. Honen's live package loads content edits at the next launch; re-export when package settings change.
