How Honen works with LifterLMS

Draft and approve a course in Honen. To test it in LifterLMS, use a third-party SCORM route such as GrassBlade xAPI Companion with its LifterLMS connector. LifterLMS describes SCORM as a third-party integration. Talk with Honen about a LifterLMS pilot.

SCORM support alone does not verify Honen's hosted launcher in LifterLMS with GrassBlade. Test the exact ZIP, learner launch, and result in your site before rollout.

GrassBlade's LifterLMS guide lists LifterLMS, GrassBlade xAPI Companion, Experience API for LifterLMS, and GrassBlade Cloud LRS for its documented integration. The companion plugin uploads a SCORM ZIP as an xAPI Content item. The connector places that item in a LifterLMS lesson or quiz. This is not a native LifterLMS package import.

An embed can display content without completing a LifterLMS lesson. GrassBlade's completion guide requires a GrassBlade LRS and a completion trigger to control the lesson's Mark Complete action. Decide whether you need display only, lesson completion, or detailed reporting before you configure the pilot.

Approve the words and assessment

Give Honen the approved procedure, slide deck, or transcript. Draft lessons and checks. Verify each statement against its source. Honen can help draft and review controlled-language content inspired by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.

Test both progress systems

Open the package as an enrolled learner. Check Honen resume, tutor use, SCORM reporting, the GrassBlade record, and the LifterLMS lesson state. These are separate observations. Honen reports through the browser while the course is open. Its live ZIP loads current Honen content after a content edit; package setting changes need a new export.
