How Honen works with Kallidus Learn
Keep Kallidus Learn for course assignment and records. Build a course in Honen, then import its SCORM ZIP as a Kallidus Lesson. The Kallidus import guide says each import becomes a Lesson that can belong to one or more Courses. Its wizard can also create a Course during import.
Choose and import the package
Kallidus supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. Its 2026 system requirements say SCORM 2004 must be single-SCO. The documented import limit is 1.7 GB; ask Support about larger files. Avoid special characters in file names.
In Learn admin, select Course > Import, choose the ZIP, and start upload. Decide whether the wizard should also create a Course. Set its title, code, category, card image, and Lesson duration. Preview the Lesson, but remember that preview is browse mode and does not record progress. Test as a learner for a real result.
Build and review with Honen
Give Honen approved documents, slides, or video. Use it to draft lessons, checks, and a tutor. Review facts, warnings, and answers. Use short, active sentences, one action per step, and consistent terms. Honen helps draft and review controlled language.
Update and track
Honen's thin package loads current approved content on a new launch. Test its hosted launch and reporting in Kallidus before relying on no-reupload updates. Kallidus also offers a separate Replace content files workflow for uploaded ZIP changes. Its SCORM reports record the status that the package sends. Kallidus advises an independent SCORM Cloud test when results differ.
SCORM sends completion, pass/fail, score, time, and resume during the open browser session. It is not a server-to-server grade feed. Use Kallidus for training records and Honen for course-level progress and topic mastery.
