Honen for iSpring LMS: add reviewed courses to your learning system

Honen helps teams draft, review, and update a course that learners open in iSpring LMS. iSpring Learn became iSpring LMS in October 2025; the same product kept its accounts and content. Keep iSpring LMS for assignment and records. Add a Honen SCORM package to a course.

Use the documented import path

iSpring LMS supports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages. Its upload guide lists a 3 GB maximum file size. Open the course, use Add → Upload, select the ZIP, and check its title. Test the course as a learner before release.

iSpring Suite can export cmi5 packages for other LMSs. That does not establish that iSpring LMS imports cmi5. The current iSpring LMS supported-content list names SCORM 1.2 and 2004; use those verified formats for this path.

Draft and check training content

Give Honen an approved procedure, policy, slide deck, or video. Name the learner's task. Review the lesson facts, questions, and tutor answers with the source owner. Test an out-of-scope question so the tutor does not invent a rule.

Write short sentences and active instructions. Use one approved term for each concept. Put one action in each step. A qualified editor must check ASD-STE100 rules, the approved dictionary, and domain terms. Honen helps draft controlled language.

Update and test the result

Honen's thin package loads current approved content on launch. A text correction can appear without another ZIP upload. Test package structure, navigation, and tracking changes. A live course needs access to Honen's host.

The Honen tutor runs inside the launched course. For SCORM, completion, pass or fail, score, time, and resume data return only while the course is open. Check which result iSpring LMS records in your tenant. Separate Honen xAPI forwarding to your own LRS needs its own setup.

Is iSpring Learn different from iSpring LMS?

It is the former product name. iSpring says existing accounts and content remain intact.

Which SCORM versions can I upload?

iSpring LMS documents SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. Test your package and tracking settings.

Does iSpring LMS support cmi5 import?

Its current supported-content list does not establish cmi5 import. Do not infer LMS support from iSpring Suite's export formats.

Do I need another ZIP after a text edit?

Approved Honen-hosted text can load through the existing package. Re-test tracking changes.

Is a generated draft ASD-STE100 conformant?

A qualified editor must check all applicable rules and terms before use.
