Draft in Honen, review the course, then import its SCORM 1.2 ZIP into Chamilo. Start with Honen and Chamilo for the delivery limits.

SCORM support alone does not verify Honen's hosted launcher in Chamilo. Test the exact ZIP, learner launch, and result in your site before rollout.

Decide where the source course lives

Chamilo 3 has an AI Learning Path Generator when the platform, course, and AI provider settings allow it. Use that workflow for content you want to author and maintain inside Chamilo. Use Honen when you want to maintain the reviewed source course in Honen and deliver it to Chamilo as a live package.

Draft and approve the lesson

Collect approved procedures, slides, and video transcripts. Record the owner and revision for each source. Ask Honen for lessons, practice, and a check. Compare each fact and answer with its source. Write direct steps with consistent terms.

For example, a service team can teach how to return a damaged item. Give Honen the current return policy and a sample case. Check the decision points and customer message with the policy owner. Import the reviewed course as a Chamilo learning path and test one learner's progress.

Honen can help draft and review controlled-language content inspired by ASD-STE100. A qualified editor must check the approved dictionary, rules, and domain terms.

Import and test

Export Honen as SCORM 1.2. Chamilo's Learning paths guide directs a teacher to more actions → Import, select the ZIP, and import it. The ZIP becomes a learning path. Test the learner launch, tutor, progress, score, and resume behavior. SCORM sends data while the course stays open.

Honen's live launcher loads new Honen content after a course edit. Re-export if package settings change. Chamilo 3 reports partial SCORM 2004 support, so do not assume its sequencing rules work for a 2004 package.
