CPA FAR Exam Prep: Financial Accounting & Reporting

A structured, topic-by-topic prep course covering every domain on the CPA FAR exam, from FASB's conceptual framework to government and nonprofit accounting.

Updated Jun 19, 2026

About this course

Most people who struggle with FAR don't struggle because the material is impossibly hard. They struggle because there's too much of it and no clear map. FAR covers more ground than any other CPA section: corporate financial statements, business combinations, governmental fund accounting, nonprofit reporting, revenue recognition, leases, pensions. Knowing a little about each topic isn't enough. The exam tests whether you can apply the right rule to the right situation under time pressure. This course works through every FAR domain in the order they build on each other. You start with the conceptual framework and GAAP hierarchy because every other topic references them. Then you move through assets, liabilities, equity, and transactions before tackling consolidations, governmental accounting, and nonprofit reporting. Each unit ends with MCQ pattern drills that mirror actual AICPA question structures, so you're not just learning concepts but learning how the exam tests them. By the end, you'll be able to sit down with a FAR question, identify which topic it's actually testing, and work through it without second-guessing yourself. The goal isn't to memorize every standard. The goal is to recognize what the question is asking and know where to go from there.
